Down South Southdowns is a small family operated farm in the mountains of western North Carolina.   We raise registered black and white Olde English Babydoll Southdown Sheep.   Our flock consists of three black ewes, one black ram, two white ewes and one white ram.   We keep two breeding rams on the farm to ensure two separate gene pools.   This allows us to offer our customers breeding pairs.   Our sheep are predominately pasture fed with some hay and grain supplemented during the winter months.   The flock is given routine worming and vaccinations along with hoof trimming and eye wool trimming.   They are sheared annually in late spring after lambing.   We have had very successful lambing seasons in the past and have sold our lambs to farms and families all around the southeast.   If you are interested in purchasing some of our sheep or have general questions please feel free to contact us.   All of our sheep are registered with the Olde English "Babydoll" Registry.
